| Penerangan CU | In dam operation, the purpose of the valves is to adjust the output of the reservoir that forms behind those dams while maintaining the proper reservoir depth, both in times of flood and in drought. The valves will be either open or close in order to control the releasing of water from the reservoir through the dam to various outlets. The person is responsible for operating dam valves at all weather conditions. The person who is competent in dam valves operation handling and shall be able to set valves and supporting equipment, inspect valves condition, operate valves gate and operate the water pump The outcome of this competency is to ensure dam valves operated in effective and efficient ways.
