| Penerangan CU | Tidal Observation is a series of measurements taken in order to provide the information required for the reduction of soundings, and the data for tidal prediction and investigation. Competent personnel shall be able to prepare tidal survey information and equipment, carry out tidal observation, recover tidal equipment parts and components and prepare field data for post processing in accordance with General Instruction for Hydrographic Surveying (GIHS), Admiralty Manual of Hydrographic Surveying Volume II (AHMS) and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Efficiency in tidal observation will ensure accurate tidal observation field data gathered and produced for post processing. |
