| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in handmade embroidery making. A characteristic of hand embroidery making is that the basic techniques/stitches of the earliest work-chain stitch, buttonhole/ blanket stitch, running stitch, satin stitch, cross stitch-remain the fundamental techniques of hand embroidery today. Examples of hand embroidery position on the apparel such as pillow case, framework, traditional wear, wedding dress, and table runner and table clothes. The personnel who are competent in this competency unit shall be able to interpret customer requirements, differentiates and match the machine, auxiliary equipment and materials to be used and confirm production making setup correctly, execute production activities and produce handmade embroidery product as per process requirements. The outcome of this competency is to produce high quality of hand embroidery product as per customer requirements and product specifications. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to provide embroidery to meet customer specifications. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- identify hand embroidery making requirements and specifications; prepare hand embroidery, material, tools and equipment; carry out hand embroidery works and assess hand embroidery making quality. |
