| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in water treatment plant upgrading programme. He or She is the person responsible for managing water treatment plant upgrading projects including designing and preparing BQ documents. The person who is competent in water treatment plant upgrading programme shall be able to gather condition, performance and specification data of existing water treatment plant, study company and regulatory body requirements on water treatment plant upgrading work, plan and prioritise upgrading programme, coordinate upgrading contract document preparation, coordinate Bill of Quantity (BQ) preparation, manage water treatment plant upgrading tender activities, manage water treatment plant upgrading work and verify water treatment plant upgrading claim. The outcome of this competency is to ensure the upgrading of water treatment plan is handled in compliance with company and regulatory body requirements. | Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able on managing water treatment plant upgrading projects including designing and preparing BQ documents. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to: - Gather condition, performance and specification data of existing water treatment plant. - Study company and regulatory body requirements on water treatment plant upgrading work. - Plan upgrading programme.
