| Penerangan CU | The switching services configuration describes the competency in switching services configuration. He or she is the person to carry out switching services configuration on site after the witches has been physically installed inclusive of all wiring. The person who is competent in this switching services configuration shall be able to prepare switching devices configuration environment, carry out Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) configuration, carry out Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) configuration, carry out VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP) configuration, carry out Inter – VLAN (i-VLAN) configuration, evaluate switching services, interconnectivity and report switching services configuration. The outcome of this competency is to produce skilled workforce which is able to configure the switched in accordance with the given plan and design of the network infrastructure, organisational requirements and standard operating procedures. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to configure switching services while ensuring the switching services in accordance with the given plan and design of the network infrastructure.
