He or she responsible to carry out nursery site preparation such as boundary pegging, clearing site, leveling activity, watering activity and fencing installation and etc. The person who is competent in site preparation shall be able to perform boundary marking, perform site preparation, perform plotting activities perform planting medium area preparation, prepare irrigation pathway lay out, perform site fencing installation, carry out wild trenching maintenance, carry out main gate maintenance activities, record site preparation maintenance activities to met nursery operation requirement. | Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to carry out nursery site preparation activities to ensure site preparation and maintenance for oil palm nursery are organized and according to regulatory bodies and company’s SOP. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Perform boundary marking • Perform site preparation • Perform nursery plotting • Perform planting medium area preparation • Prepare irrigation piping pathway lay out • Perform site fencing installation/and or trench • Carry out wild animal trench maintenance • Report site preparation and upkeep activities |
