| Penerangan CU | Mould set-up is the process of position the mould on the platen then secure it with bolts, clamps. After installing the mould, install the cooling water hose according to the piping diagram, confirm that the mould close and open smoothly. The CU title describes the competency in Mould Set-up. The person who perform this task do the preparation work required before an actual production run. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to move mould to machine, install mould to the machine, and install auxiliary equipment which include set moulding parameter. The outcome of this competency is to ensure the mould set up job done correctly and to avoid mishandling during the mould setting. Mishandling of the mould will make the production line stop and costly loses. |
