| Penerangan CU | This CU focuses on quality assurance of electrical equipment on board ship/marine vessel. Quality assurance (QA) by definition refers to the planned and systematic activities implemented in a quality system so that quality requirements for a product or service will be fulfilled. It is the systematic measurement, comparison with a standard, monitoring of processes and an associated feedback loop that confers error prevention. Quality control (QC) is a procedure or set of procedures intended to ensure that a manufactured product or performed service adheres to a defined set of quality criteria or meets the requirements of the client or customer. In general terms, quality control refers to a procedure or a set of steps taken during the making of a product or service to ensure that it meets requirements The person who is competent in Marine Electrical Quality Assurance shall be able to analyse electrical service quality requirement, plan and verify marine electrical quality control activities, carry out corrective action and produce quality control report. The outcome of this competency is to ensure all Marine electrical quality control in good condition in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and organisation standard requirement |
